International Royalty Administrator Job Brief:
We are looking for an International Royalty Administrator to join our new re structured Accounts Team. You will be managing and distributing royalty payments to our global artists, rights owners, composers and publishers around the globe. Your role is an essential part of our operations team in which our clients receive accurate reporting and compensation for their works when it used in various mediums, either on radio, TV, streaming platforms and many more.
International Royalty Administrator Responsibilities
- To manage and maintain our developed online accounting royalty systems.
- Process, review and test royalty reports and statements.
- Identify potential discrepancies and cases of fraudulent use / abuse of our partners platforms.
- Work closely with our partners, collection societies, and clients to ensure reporting and payments are accurate and distributed on time each month.
- Process global payments.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Data analysis.
- Provide support and solutions to client enquiries and resolve disputes.
- Remain up to date with the music industry developments, law and regulations.
- Taxation admin work including double taxation certificates.
Requirements
- Understanding music rights, copyright and the royalty distribution process is essential.
- Previous experience in this role or similar role would be essential.
- Strong analytical and data management skills with a very high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Not be frightened to put forwards new ideas that can improve processes and efficiency.
- Efficiency with technology with advanced abilities using Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Take part in regular meetings.
Qualifications
- English proficiency.
- Experience in a fast paced, environment.
- Committed to duties, a self-learner and a team player mindset with the ability to think outside of the box and not be frightened to contribute to company and team discussion and planning.
- Banking experience.
