Horus Music Turns 10As we near the end of the year, we have the final instalment of our guilty pleasure series. Here we have Luke sharing his top choices.

Listen along on Spotify.

1. Robbie Williams – Bodies

Hardly the highest point in his career but I can’t help but love this song, especially the video. Motorcycle. Desert. Wheelies. What more could you want from a guilty pleasure?

2. Roll Deep – Good Times

A nostalgic throwback to when grime went pop, this song is made for getting ready for a night out and always goes down a treat in a pre drink playlist!

3. BABYMETAL – Line!

Probably one of the oddest and most ridiculous bands on the planet and I love them for it!

4. Jason Derulo – Riding Solo

As someone who’s not really an R&B fan, I can’t really explain why I like this song so much. 6 years on though and it’s still stuck in my head!

5. Papa Roach – Scars

Cheesy, angst filled hard rock. Great throwback to the emo days.

6. Tinchy Stryder ft. N-Dubz – Number 1

Arguably the best title you could have for a song you wanted to chart. It actually got to UK number 1 as well! Another one from when grime went pop, it brings back a lot of memories.

7. Savage Garden – Truly Madly Deeply

My mum loved this album when I was a kid and used to play it all of the time. It definitely rubbed off on me and I get all warm and fuzzy when I hear this track.

8. Far East Movement ft. The Cataracs, DEV – Like a G6

The most bizarre simile I’ve ever heard in a song but it’s impossible not to nod along to the bass and beat!

9. Chamillionaire ft. Krayzie Bone – Ridin’

Hard to find a better opening to a track-‘They see me rollinnn’”

10. High School Musical – Breaking Free

The crème de la crème of guilty pleasures, this film was pure cheese and 11 year old me loved it! So did a lot of other kids (and parents too) seeing as the soundtrack was the best selling album of 2006!
