Horus Music was delighted earlier today as we learned that we are a finalist within the Leicester Mercury Business Awards 2014.

Horus Music is nominated for the Export Company of the Year award, which is sponsored by the UKTI.

CEO Nick Dunn said “This is a great honour for us as a company and we are delighted that the Leicester Mercury and its panel of judges have recognised the hard work and achievement of all of our staff. For the last three years, we have consistently achieved over 80% export of UK Music to every part of the globe. All of this has been achieved from our HQ in Leicester City Centre. We know that by exporting our clients music they are able to reach wider audiences, develop a larger fanbase and to earn higher revenues for their music.”

By working with leading partners such as Apple iTunes, Amazon, Google, Deezer, Spotify and many more, we sell music to consumers in over 120 countries. We will continue to increase our market penetration to ensure our labels and clients are getting the best possible opportunities that no other company can offer. We will always go the extra mile for our clients.”

We are very much looking forward to the awards evening in a few months time and would like to thank the Leicester Mercury for their support. We are grateful that they understand the passion, determination and energy that goes in to running a successful business.
