What is Unlimited Music Distribution?

Compared to our older ‘pay per release’ packages, Unlimited Distribution works a bit differently. Rather than paying a fee for every single, EP or album you want to release, our Unlimited Distribution account model allows you to distribute as many releases as you want, for an affordable yearly subscription fee.

Don’t limit your creativity, with a yearly fee you will always know what the cost is and so you’re free to create until your heart’s content and access unlimited music distribution with no hidden fees.

If you pay for your subscription as an independent artist, it’s just £20 a year and you can distribute as many releases as you wish. This is all whilst receiving 100% of the royalties for your music and retaining all of your rights.

How Does Unlimited Music Distribution Work for Artists?

Through our custom-built client portal, you can create an artist account or record label account, upload your first release, and purchase your unlimited distribution subscription package for your profile when it is time to submit the music for global release. This fee is auto-renewable each year, meaning if you release multiple singles, EPs and albums in a year, you would only pay £20, whereas previously you would pay each time you want to release something.

If you buy a subscription in October then you will not be asked to renew your subscription until the following October. As long as you don’t cancel your subscription with us then your releases will remain online and you will earn 100 percent of the royalties we collect for you from over 150 different platforms all over the world!

Can Record Labels Access Unlimited Music Distribution with Horus Music?

Our client portal has been built to allow for record labels to create a parent profile (to manage all releases and analytics) and sub-profiles for each artist they sign and release music for. 

Because record labels can vary in terms of the volume of artists they sign and work with, we have introduced a sliding scale of prices based on how many signed artists you are distributing as a record label. This has been done to avoid extreme costs for smaller independent labels working more hands-on with a select number of artists. See our pricing below or more info here:

Subscription costs for record labels:

  • Unlimited distribution for up to 2 artists – £30
  • Unlimited distribution for up to 5 artists – £70
  • Unlimited distribution for up to 10 artists – £120
  • Unlimited distribution for up to 15 artists – £160
  • Unlimited distribution for up to 20 artists – £200
  • Unlimited distribution for up to 30 artists – £250
  • Unlimited distribution for up to 40 artists – £300
  • Unlimited distribution for up to 60 artists – £450

You can upgrade your subscription at any point to add more artist profiles from your Horus Music account. When upgrading, you will only pay the difference between the subscription you are on and your upgrade, your renewal date will always stay the same.
